Easter Egg Hunts in Connecticut 2018

The Easter festivity is a time when people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and beliefs come together to celebrate a timeless American tradition – Egg Hunting. Fortunately, there is no shortage of egg hunting events in Connecticut. This might seem like a good thing, and it is, but the problem arises when you have to decide which egg hunts to participate in and which ones to leave out. No matter which egg hunts you choose, we are sure you are going to have a blast. Nonetheless, our Car Service in Connecticut decided to create a short list of what we think are the best egg hunting events in the state this Easter. We hope that they help you narrow down your list of potential egg hunting adventures.

We also recommend that you employ the services of our Connecticut Ground Transportation Service this Easter. Our professionally trained chauffeurs have a detailed knowledge of the city and will get you to any venue of your choosing in a fast and safe manner at a time when the city is in frenzy over the Easter festivities. This way you will cover much more ground and get to enjoy a relaxing, hassle-free Easter season with your loved ones.

Annual Fairfield Egg Hunt

As the name suggests, this event occurs annually in Fairfield and this year the egg hunt is scheduled for the 24th of March from 10am to 1pm. The event is open to kids anywhere between pre-school and third grade; each kid must, however, bring their own basket to be able to participate in the egg hunt. Other activities will include a bunny obstacle course, bunny face painting, and a children’s craft. The event is completely free but each participant will be expected to donate $1, which will be handed over to a local scholarship fund.

Eggs-Travaganza at Stew Leonard’s in Newington

This event is scheduled for the 27th of March in Newington between 4pm and 5pm. The event is inviting participants below the age of 8; each participant will receive a map of the vicinity and a bag to put their collected eggs from costumed characters strategically positioned across the store. Each of the eggs will contain prices ranging from gift cards, to candy, to toys. However, one lucky child will hit the jackpot and win a $200 Toys R Us gift card. Note that some of the candy has peanuts, so if your child is allergic, instruct them not to eat any of it until you have inspected his winnings. Also, due to the growing popularity of this event, this will be a ticketed event and will be limited to 500 children of ages 8 and below, so purchase your ticket online now if you would like your child to participate.

Easter Egg Hunt at Farmington Miniature Golf and Ice Cream Parlor

This event is scheduled for the 31st of March between 11am and 2pm. The participants must be between ages 1 and 9 with tickets being only $3. Kids will be hunting for over 15,000 chocolate/candy/prize-filled eggs. They will also get to enjoy activities such as face painting, bouncy castles, ice cream, and much more. Also, you could pay for a picture with the Easter bunny at only $8, which will be donated to the Our Companions Animal Rescue, a Connecticut-based organization that is dedicated to doing right by animals regardless of cost or difficulty; sounds like a worthy cause to us.
